Sunday: Funday

Sunday's is a day for chillaxing, some mum time to me, and what is lovely is the sun is shining, spring is around the corner, and with that, the kids get out from under my feet...hubby included!

Eldest hangs out with her girlfriends, youngest at the field with his football hubby out on the bike...so a quick house tidy up get dinner prepped and the rest is my day...a day for manicure and planner fun.

Apart from my family and my furbaby Mac, I have 3 major obsessives

  1. Essie Nailpolish of which I have 58 bottles and rising!
  2. Filofaxing, at present I have moved into my dream FF, a personal Ochre Malde #love
  3. Flylady!

Literally, my life could not work without any of those!

I can not live with naked nails *shudder* so while hubster was out cycling around the countryside and children out with friends...I broke out my new Essie 'Tuck it in my Tux' and 'sparkle on top' Love it, but not my most favourite polishes to be honest

I am extremely sad at my broken thumb nail!! It broke right at the nail bed and to say it was bloody ouch is an understatement!

After nail polishing it was time to start planning for next week...My filofax is literally my 'mom bible' I refer to it daily sometime more than once, so I know what kid is doing what, where the hubster is, and what work I have on as well as keeping flylady organised

Valentines week :)) I love that Becky Higgins Project life card works perfectly for this week....I used to use sticky notes for things to do, then transfer it into the planner, but now I write on the back of the project life card :)

This was last weeks pages....

I finally have planner peace with my Malden, I have a Websters Pages planner and I don't know, I just cant bond with it, I am hopefully going to get a youtube video up to to do my review but haven't got round to it...will fit it in my planner this week ;))

But you can see my video of my malden love at my channel

  1. Hi Cat

I stumbled onto your YouTube video, loved it. I thought, that sounds like an Invernessian accent which was lovely to hear. I got an A5 Malden Ochre recently, still not moved in as this whole planner world and set up is still new to me and I'm still not sure what to do, hence the trolling through YouTube. I love the smell and look of the Malden, so just need to get going. Love your nails.

    1. Well heard Jules!! Very much an Invernessian accent :)) Funny as here in Inverness, many don't think I have a strong Invernessian accent as I have a slight west coast tinge too but out-with Inverness I get told its really strong!!

I should do an updated version of my Malden I have all moved in now, made new dividers and loving it...I do love to randomly smell my Malden the feel and the smell, you just cant beat it, your planner peace will come, I still troll through youtube looking for ideas :))

      xoxo Cat
